It has been six years since my original review, so I felt an update was warranted. This little gem should really have five stars.

Everything on the menu is delicious from their great selection of small and large salads, wide variety of sandwiches or quiche. My husband and son can be hard to please and they love it too. I personally love the Barbara salad and the tuna is the best I've ever had.

You order at the counter and they'll bring your dish to you. This is good so you can grab your beverage and find a nice table on the patio or inside.

I love the patio if the weather is nice. The tree shades the whole patio and it is gorgeous. It is really pretty and cozy inside.

There is a big lot in the back or street parking.
TIPS:
1. If your purchase is less than $10.00 they only take cash.
2. Go before 11:30 a.m. if you want a table inside. This restaurant is very popular.

Penelope's is one of our favorite places to have lunch. The food is always scrumptious. Their soup is homemade and excellent. Love all of their salads. Sandwich selection is wide and yummy. On Saturdays during the summer, they have live music on the patio. The owner and the staff cannot be kinder or more accommodating. We always take out of town guests here and they want to come back.

My friend invited me to lunch at this hidden gem!! What a treat!! Quaint serene atmosphere. Lovely patio seating as well as various seating inside among a wonderful selection of art and children's books. Comfy seating around a fireplace is available as well. Order at register and food brought to table. Nice selection of salads and sandwiches as well as some soup selections and quiches. I ordered the triple combo and had a half chicken salad sandwich on savory rosemary bread with a side Greek salad and a small cup of clam chowder; very delicious and filling. Nice portion sizes and reasonable prices. Free parking in rear. Friendly courteous staff. Would definitely return.
